Keeping a clean home can seem like an impossible chore, especially as a mom. You’re juggling so much more than ever before and may worry about keeping up while maintaining a non-toxic environment for your littles. Utilizing non-toxic cleaning supplies can put you at ease knowing that what you’re using won’t hurt your loved ones. As a busy mom of 3, I also prioritize cleaning supplies that are quick and easy to use.
In this blog post, we’ll explore some of my favorite non-toxic cleaning supplies, including the Shark Vacmop, Force of Nature, and homemade Clorox wipes.
The Shark Vacmop is a versatile cleaning tool that can be used to clean floors without the need for harsh chemicals. It combines the power of a vacuum and a mop, allowing you to pick up dirt and debris while also cleaning and disinfecting your floors. I have tried so many different mops and vacuum/mop combos and this has been my favorite by far. It’s so simple to use – vacuum the dirt and mop up the stains.
One of the great things about the Shark Vacmop is that it comes with disposable pads and you can put in your own cleaning solution. The pads are also easy to dispose of, making it a convenient and eco-friendly option for cleaning your floors.
Force of Nature
Force of Nature is an all-purpose cleaner that uses electricity to turn salt, water, and vinegar into a powerful cleaning solution. It’s a great alternative to traditional cleaning products that can contain harmful chemicals like bleach and ammonia.
To use Force of Nature, you simply fill the included spray bottle with water, add the electrolyte activator, and then plug it in to create the cleaning solution. It’s a simple and effective way to clean and disinfect surfaces in your home without exposing yourself to harmful chemicals.
Homemade Clorox Wipes
If you’re looking for a non-toxic alternative to Clorox wipes, you can easily make your own at home using natural ingredients. All you need is a roll of paper towels, some water, vinegar, and essential oils (optional).
To make your own Clorox wipes, you’ll need to mix equal parts water and vinegar in a bowl, add a few drops of essential oils for fragrance (optional), and then pour the mixture over the paper towels. Once the paper towels are soaked, you can transfer them to a container and use them to clean and disinfect surfaces in your home. Personally, I use reusable paper towels and cover them in a vacuum sealed container and just throw them in the laundry when I’m done.
In addition to these three non-toxic cleaning supplies, there are many other options available that are safe and effective for cleaning your home. Some other non-toxic cleaning supplies you may want to consider include baking soda, vinegar, castile soap, essential oils, and microfiber cloths.
Using non-toxic cleaning supplies is a great way to keep your home clean and safe without exposing yourself to harmful chemicals. The Shark Vacmop, Force of Nature, and homemade Clorox wipes are just a few examples of the many non-toxic cleaning supplies available that can help you maintain a healthy and eco-friendly home.
